You may be surprised to learn that just about your entire body is covered with hair. Most of this hair is fine and pale and not usually visible to the naked eye. But ,when darker, coarse hair appears in places that make us uncomfortable, we search to remove it. The traditional methods of removing unwanted hair include plucking, shaving, waxing and chemical depilatories. They are inconvenient, some are painful, some are messy and all are only temporary. Increasingly, men and women of all ages are turning to a more effective solution, laser hair removal. Our laser is a state of the art system specifically designed to remove unwanted hair faster, with less discomfort and more reliably than any other method - and it permanently reduces your unwanted hair.

How does it work?
A laser produces a beam of highly concentrated light. This light is well absorbed by the pigment in the hair follicles. During the procedure the upper layer of skin is compressed and cooled with a special cooling handpiece, while the laser heats up the root of the hair and destroys the follicle's ability to regrow.

What can you expect?
The length of a laser treatment may last anywhere from a few minutes to an hour or more, depending on the size of the area being treated. It is important to know that the hairs in an active growth phase (referred to as anagen) are most affected by the laser. As all hairs are not in this phase at the same time, more than one treatment will be necessary to achieve the best result.
The laser treatment itself causes very little discomfort. Some areas of the body are more sensitive than others, and topical anesthesia can be an option. The appearance of the treated area immediately following the treatment varies. Side effects if any, are minor. They may include redness and swelling around the hair follicle, which are, in fact, desired clinical result. Most people return to normal activity right away.
