Fractional CO2 Laser Resurfacing

Laser: the Elixir of New Life for Your Skin
The CO2 laser is considered the most effective weapon for combating wrinkles, aging, acne scars and many other skin imperfections. Laser treatment restores tone, texture and glow of your skin through the formation of a completely new skin layer. In addition, it stimulates dermis to produce new collagen, leading to your skin feeling smoother and more elastic.

Fractional technology revolutionized the art of skin rejuvenation. It allows to safely treat even the most delicate areas of the skin with very little side effects and down time. This laser uses specially modulated beams of light about the width of a human hair, to penetrate into the skin. These beams of light destroy and contract the old collagen within the wrinkles and incite the body’s natural wound healing process to create new, youthful collagen in the skin Laser treatment can be performed on a full face, neck, décolletage, hands, as well as on “problem areas” such as around the eyes and around the mouth.

Fractional CO2 Laser Resurfacing

In one hour you will be on your way to looking 10 years younger!
Fractional resurfacing itself takes only 5-20 minutes. First, topical anesthetic is applied and left on the skin for about 1 hour, to ensure your comfort during the procedure. The doctor may choose to administer some local anesthesia for the sensitive areas by performing an injection. During the procedure a special cooling device is used to keep a slight burning sensation to a minimum. After the treatment no special dressings or masks are required, and post-procedure care is very simple. Most patients can apply mineral make-up and return to work after 5-7 days. Laser technology allows the doctor to tailor the downtime and adjust it based on balancing your desired clinical results with the amount of time that you can allow to take off.
Results vary from patient to patient, but as your body continues to heal and create new strong healthy collagen you will continue to see improvement for up to six months after your treatment. Results should last for several years, but as your skin continues to age it is recommended to adhere to a good skin care regimen and daily sun protection.
